Last updated: March 19, 2026

Algoryn (KVK 97303585) operates algoryn.nl. This page explains what happens when you visit the site.

What we collect

Almost nothing. This site has no analytics, no tracking scripts, no cookies, and no contact forms. We do not collect, store, or process any personal data ourselves.

Theme preference

When you switch between dark and light mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Google Fonts

This site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When you visit, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch the font files. This means Google receives your IP address and standard browser information (user agent, referrer) for that request. We have no access to this data. See Google Fonts privacy information for details.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect standard server access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser information) as part of operating its infrastructure. We do not have access to these logs. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.

External links

This site contains links to external websites (LinkedIn, GitHub, Databricks, news articles, etc.). When you follow these links, those sites have their own privacy policies. We have no control over their content or data practices.

Contact

If you email tom@algoryn.nl, your email address and message content are processed by our email provider. We use your email only to respond to your inquiry.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we don't collect personal data through this site, there is typically nothing to request. If you have questions, contact tom@algoryn.nl.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
